The EVH 5150 Deluxe Poplar Burl electric guitar, brought to you by legendary rocker Eddie Van Halen. Like its predecessor, the 5150 Deluxe features a modified Strat-style basswood body with a deeper upper body curve and a graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn maple neck for rock-solid stability. The 12"–16" compound radius ebony fingerboard enables exceptional speed and comfort.

Powerful Pickups Produce Pounding Tones

While the original 5150 had a single humbucker, the 5150 Deluxe is outfitted with an HH pickup configuration controlled by a 3-way toggle. The EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking bridge pickup delivers punch, articulation and thick rhythms. The EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking neck pickup provides overdrive, sustain and cleans. A custom low-friction volume knob enables smooth volume swells, and a high-friction tone knob prevents accidental changes.

Dive-Bomb-Ready Bridge Provides Drop-D Access

Decked out with an EVH-branded Floyd Rose bridge, the 5150 Deluxe features fine tuners for each string and an EVH D-Tuna for switching between drop-D and standard tuning. The locking tailpiece, designed for Eddie´s signature tremolo work, gives you instant access to drop-D tuning for added sonic variety.

Striking Esthetics and Convenient Components

A stylized modern spin on a fan favorite, the 5150 Deluxe stuns with a unique poplar burl top in Aqua Burst or Black Burst. All-chrome hardware, including EVH-branded Gotoh tuning machines, provides an eye-catching finish. A lower bout kill switch allows for rhythmic muting effects, and a heel-mount truss rod adjustment spoke wheel offers convenient neck relief tweaks.
