The Super Ludwig Chrome Over Brass was originally released in 1960 as the "answer to every drummer’s dream." The Super Ludwig series drums are now re-imagined as a new standard model for 2019. The 2019 "Super Ludwig" is Ludwig´s chrome-plated USA seamless brass shell with the added the elegance of nickel hardware: 10 Imperial lugs, 2.3 mm hoops, P88 throw & P35 butt plate.
Like all of Ludwig´s snare drums, the 2019 “Super Ludwig” is as “at home” in the studio, with its crisp, warm attack, as it is on stages all over the world thanks to its unique presence and inimitable tone. Available in 5" and 6.5" depths, the “Super Ludwig” has all the characteristics that have made Ludwig "The Most Famous Name on Drums" for 110 years.
